Delectable Mountains Quilt
1 day workshop with Amy Askins
Class #600: Sat. May 17 @ 10:00 AM-3:00 PM
We have enjoyed getting to know Amy Askins and in the process found that
when she lived in
California she attended many of Eleanor Burns classes. We are most privileged to
have her in our community and welcome her as an instructor.
This is a traditional quilt pattern that you will enjoy creating as your own
special heirloom. You can make this quilt as large as you wish simply by
repeating more rows. Amy will teach you all the techniques needed for your own
Delectable Mountain. Intermediate Level class.
Tuition: $25.00. A supply list will be provided.

Mock Hand Appliqué
with Margaret Layman
Class #604: Saturday, May 31 @10:30 AM
Many attended this class in March and some had to miss for various reasons
and asked that Margaret repeat the class. As always, Margaret does a wonderful
job helping you learn the class techniques. This appliquéd wall quilt uses a
turned edge created with freezer paper templates. It gives the look of true hand
work without ever making a stitch by hand. Your machine blind hem is used to
give a hand picked look to the needlework. You will create a piece to add
borders to and hang or use this as a springboard to create more blocks for a
bigger wall quilt.
Tuition: $25.00. A supply list will be provided.
