Which has never happened or will never happen at your house?

In another room "THE" TV loses power during a hot football game and you belatedly notice your husband approaching the circuit breaker with a screwdriver and a confident smile muttering "I'll take care of it honey".

A thunderstorm with lightening and stuff boils up within 10 miles or so.

A car accident within town, or close by, takes out a power pole with a transformer on it.

Your neighbor's house, they are on vacation, has a major power problem.

While you are taking a much deserved nap your youngest child figures out that an electrical outlet can cause delightful sparks when something is inserted in it.

Two teenage girls, one yours, one a guest, both need to use their hairdryers at the same time. In the same bedroom. In the same outlet. With a set of hair curlers. "Marvin looked soooooo cool at last month's dance!"

Your lights dim occasionally, well we mean your house lights dim occasionally.

You have a kiln.

The town dumptruck raises its bed too soon and entangles the electrical wires.

If you don't have proper electronic protection for your computer/sewing machine to guard against these awful circumstances, then get one now!  And we don't mean a plug in strip that you can buy at department stores for about $10.00.  You need both over and under voltage protection and that's going to cost you about $$70.00. We sell 'em but that's not the real purpose of this series.

We get a lot of calls and repair tasks from customers who have had electrical damage to their Sewing Machines.
Your sewing machine costs thousands.

Warranties will not protect you from damage caused by over/under voltage.

How to tell if you have over voltage: Your machine will not turn on.

How to tell if you have under voltage: You can't,  but gradually your circuit boards degrade and then one day you will discover your machine doing funny things, like changing from straight stitch to zig zag in the middle of sewing.
