806: Serger baby quilt
This is a sturdy stitch ’n flip quilt and is especially nice to give so that the new mother can throw it on the floor for the baby to lay on. It's fast, easy and so much fun!
This serger quilt is constructed using the sew and flip method and uses only 12 seams to complete the quilt.
Fabric yardage needed:
Center square ( Color #1): 10 ½” square of fabric or 1/3 yard of fabric
Color #2: ¼ yard of fabric
Color #3: 7/8 yard
Color #4: 7/8 yard
Color #5: 7/8 yard
Color #6: 7/8 yard
Color #7: 1 1/2 yards
~Need a twin size polyester batting or 2 crib sized polyester batting. MUST be polyester!
