092923: Freemotion Borders & Sashing Design with Ashley Jurney
In this two hour session, Ashley will demonstrate and instruct you on how to plan your quilt borders and sashing. Then you will learn to use different design concepts to free motion your sample.
We have two BERNINA sit-down quilting machine for class use reserved on a first come basis. In addition, we have a B790Pro and an B880 that can be reserved for class use.
Please bring to class:
Quilting thread and two full bobbins (if you're borrowing a machine from us, we will lend you the bobbins that you'll wind your thread on)
Size 80 or 90 Microtex or Jeans needle
A couple of Quilt sandwiches to practice on-- two fat quarters with batting in between
Scissors
Water soluble thread
Seam ripper
Reading glasses if you need them
